I had my 1980 Wagon's fuel tank restored by Moyer fuel tank. Just got it back today. Looks pretty good

I've heard before they do  great work, Glad to hear it worked out for you :D

I'll be putting the tank in soon is there a lube I can use when I put the filler tube back in thru the gromet

WD-40 worked good for me. Lubed both the pipe and the grommet.
