How is the license plate mounted to the front bumper? If a bracket is needed, I seem to be missing it. Please advise.
Thanks

It mounts on a bracket. There should be a couple of holes in the underside of the bumper where the bracket attaches, using the same type of inserts that are used to mount the plate on the bracket. They are available at any auto-related store. Junk yard is probably going to be your best bet for a bracket and I'm not sure if they were standard across the Ford lineup or not. Barring all else, it shouldn't be a hard part to fabricate. There are also generic brackets available that might work with or without slight modification. Good luck!

What year Pinto does your bracket fit? My '74 needs a bracket so if SteveWT324 isn't interested, I might be.

I'll have to take a look at my '72 to see exactly what it looks like, but I doubt it will work on the '74.
