...owners need to see this. Apparently, the lovely chaps in the UK had 2.0's equipped by Ford with DuraSpark ignitions. Add the brain box, and we're set?

Per http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Escort-Capri-Sierra-2-0-Pinto-Electronic-Dissy-For-Road-Race-Rally-/200948387929?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2ec9751059, it's less than $$40, plus shipping. :) I almost, as my wife would say, 'Poked the button'. lol

tons of stuff over there that never made it over here. i think that if ford had been forward thinking enough they would have promoted this aspect of the car and increased sales even more than the enormous numbers that they were recording for the car

the only substitute for cubic inches is BOOST!!!

Ford USA switched to the Lima based 2.3 in 1974/1975, the UK never got the Lima 2.3 and continued to use the  EAO 2.0L engine.

And thus yes, you too can own a 2.0 twin cam turbo Ford all you need is money or a good friend at an Air Force Base to use a MAC cargo flight......To ship it home....Darn I have to stop getting weird ideas.... I Have an Retired  Military ID , I might go on a MAC Flight  to go any where, Space A  rules...Or take a Space A Flight to Japan and get a RB26 DETT for my 260Z. Can you say Godzilla....Ye s time to play the theme song....
