I have a 1971 pinto of which I plan on installing a ford 302 v8 with a c4 tranny, what motor mounts should I be using for this?  Do I need to remove the old pinto mounts first? ?

There are no mounts available. Everything needs to be fabricated. The '71 is not the best choice for a V8 swap, ask me how I know.
If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?

Yes I am interested in knowing why. The 71 isn't best bet for a swap. With a 302.  I am in the early stage of this project, I heard that left hand mounts from a 68. Mustang would work.
