floors

i know mustang II floors will fit the front with some small modifying but i cant figure out what to use for the rear floors . Or dos anyone know some one that can make a one pice front to rear floor pans? for a 1979 pinto cruiser wagon     thanks

I don't think there's anything available. Find a shop that has a bead roller and have them make you some up out of some sheetmetal.

How bad are the floors?  Are they rusted the whole way down?  Typically the area that is raised a bit for the seat doesn't rust out.  I had a 66 Mustang where that middle part was ok but the rest in the front and back were all rusted out.  I made patches and welded them in and it was fine.  That's most likely what you'll have to end up doing because I don't think there is anyone out there making reproduction floor pieces like for other cars like Mustangs, Firebirds and Camaros, etc.  I would use galvanized steel myself.

On my 78 crusing wagon, I had to replace the pass side floor pan,. front and rear.  I cut some rust free panels from a doner car.  I would maybe try that route before making them.  Someone has to be parting out a car.  I will have to check but I might have one rear section from a 72 parts car I scrapped out a few years back.  I will have to check.
