Slotted Factory mags, cap won't fit
« on: January 06, 2018, 08:24:50 PM »
Got new chrome lug nuts for the factory mags: the washer that comes with the new lugs prevents the chrome cap (with pinto logo) from fitting.
Are the washers necessary?
Are there smaller washers?
Has anyone else had this problem?

If they are Ford wheels they did not use a washer. The lug nuts are tapered on the end and the wheel itself is tapered where the lug nut goes. I would assume you have the wrong lug nut.
