Defroster tube...
« on: November 24, 2011, 11:52:10 AM »
Does anyone know of a place that I can purchase the plastic defroster tube (non air conditioner) that attaches to tabs at the defroster outlets under the dash and runs down to the heater outlet?  On the 74 wagon, they totally disintegrated when I pulled the heater out for motor and core replacement. I have one for an air conditioner model but it is totally different than the one on the non-air wagon. Any ideas about what might be used to replace this part? Thanks for any input!

I thought I was the only one having defrost problems. Any more of those tubes floating around??

I have the defroster tube from my 1977 trunk, non-a/c car. I removed the entire heater box and duct from my car so I don't need it...
