Decel Valve

What happens if I take the decal valve off the carb.  Plug the hole(s).  Any downside?  Drive the same? jt

I.'ve done it along with taking all systems out/off one at a time to try to get it to run better to no avail. I have the dual vac / even switched that to single vac and no change here.
