Could be the tight belt pulled the pulley shaft seal out of whack enough to create a leak. Which is probably rooted in sloppy bearings in the pump. Could be as easy as redoing the line connections, making sure they are clean and sealing right, but It's most likely going to need the pump replaced. Very easy to do, if you can reach the mounting bolts and lines, just messy. Just undo the belt/lines, undo mounting bracket bolts and remove. Clean up the area and stick a new one back in where you found it. Squeeze some fresh fluid in there and, viola'.
