This is my final post here, I am still looking for a quality Cruiser to buy, I am not looking to buy something that will take forever to restore, I am willing to pay a good price for a good car, ANYWHERE IN THE US, it seems the dream is fading, that is why this is my last add, I have 21 days from todays date, and if I cannot find a cruiser, I will move on to purchase a 77 Cobra Mustang II....but my dream is still a 77, 78, 79, 80 Full Packaged Cruiser Wagon. I do not have many years remaining on this earth, ONE day you will have a dream that may or may not come to fruition...... .... Thank YOU for reading this.......... .

I wish you the best. But, do remember that you are looking for car that is at least 36 years old and may be as old as 40 years. Pinto's in general were not considered a collector car where they were set aside and preserved (like say a Buick Grand National). Most suffered from lack of proper care. Smog equipment failing and being obscure only adds to the problem. Factoring in that you are looking for a specialized version and the difficulty only increases.
In 2007 when I first bought my Pinto wagon I was in a junk yard and came across a cruise wagon. Thinking the panels might be of interest, I considered them. I was traveling at the time and just figured I'd get another set when more convenient. I've made at least 100 wrecking yard trips since then - and never came across another one. You may have to consider buying a less than desirable Cruise Wagon and then paying someone to restore the car with the amount you are will to pay for a decent one. Regardless I wish you the best.
Are you using other sources in your search? There may be commercial sellers out there that no one on this site may be aware is selling a Cruise Wagon.

They can be very elusive; particularly when you have specific criteria to meet. I began my search for an orange 1974 Pinto Runabout with black interior more than twenty years ago. The closest one I've seen in all that time is Joe Escobar's and he's not about to part with it (can't blame him, it's a beauty). I fully understand not wanting a project car but, if money isn't an object, you may want to consider buying a lesser car and having it professionally restored as Wittsend suggested. I, too, wish you the best in your quest for the Pinto of your dreams.

There was a guy in Prosser, WA that had 79-80, V8, air, power everything, wanted 10K. Beautiful car. Might still be on the site.
