Title: Cowl Rust
Post by: wbacon8780 on March 12, 2013, 02:50:00 PM
I need some ideas on how to repair the cowl rust on my 79 Pinto. It is all around the vent that leads to the heater/ac box. I searched the forums and really didn't find to much except the putty thread. Is there aftermarket panel for inside the cowl. Also I was thinking about cutting the cowl vents so I can work in there. I'm in the process of removing the Heater/ac box but still looks like there isn't much room under there.

Ok, looks like I'm going to rebuild it with fiberglass.

Hope it helps some.
