Title: cowl question

so I want to cleanand paint under the cowl of my 80 wagon and Iwas looking at whet needed to be done to remove it......HOLY MESS BAT MAN!!!!! looks to me likke the windshiled,the fenders. and half the engine needs to come to get to it.. any suggestions?

See if these help. I did mine 2 years ago as I described in the 2nd thread & it's still squeaky clean thanks to a $49 Ebay car cover.

Do you have holes rusted through of just scale & surface rust? Do you have a welder & have you done any sheet metal work before?

If it's scale & surface rust You can pull the vents under the dash along with the heater core & get up in there to knock it loose & blow out the crud. POR-15 will go right over it & seal it from moisture.
