Title: clutch cable

i wanted to know. will there be any binding problems using a 75 and up clutch cable with a 74 clutch pedal. my so called brother inlaw decided to steal a bunch of my parts to scrap.and for some poor reason took my 74 clutch cable i bought from fred last year.
