I ordered a remanufactured carb online.  I received a carb that looks like the original except the new one has a port over the fuel reservoir.  Is it interchangeabl e?  What do I do with the port?  Should I return it?  Any assistance will be great.

I have a 1976 Mercury Bobcat Villager with the 2.8l V6.

Thanks
