Your right, they have been grinding cams for these engines for years, only problem is they have discontinued making the correct valve springs, and Followers, (they will sell you springs that are way over kill and will destroy your cam, followers and bearings) and the people that knew about these engines are gone from Crower, so you end up talking to someone that has NO clue, I have a set of springs they sold me, how's 147lbs on the seat, and 280 lbs sound at 1.4" installed height. that's only 100lbs more then I needed.. although they would work fine on a roller cam engine that is expected to turn 10,000 rpm's
