Shifter cable for C3 auto tranny
« on: December 19, 2017, 06:17:57 PM »
The shifter button on my '79 Bobcat recently got stuck in the in-position. I disassembled the top of the shift lever and found that the the cable snapped that runs down the lever to lift the locking latch. I've been trying to locate parts or a  kit for this. Does anyone here know of a part number(s) for this unit?

It's OEM Ford C3 transmission.

The car is at my service garage now. I'll try to get some pictures posted when I head over there.

Also, I haven't had to dive into this part of the car yet. So any advice you have would be much appreciated.
