best trans for my swap?

 ???I know this will be another dumb questition from  a newabe,but what the hell,,,in my project my car weights aprox. 1850 lbs.i am using 2l pinto eng/c3 trans.so what woulds bee agood ratio rear end?as my car sit my rear end is 3.9.thanks all for your help...
