Title: bad carb
Post by: zluhcs on March 30, 2018, 02:57:16 PM
I have a 74 pinto with 2.3 engine. Is there a good replacement card for the one I have?  I would like to get rid of the water choke and a few of  the vacuum lines. what about the weber conversion kits? Or, is it better to try to keep things stock? any help would be appreciated, thanks

You'll need to decide how much improvement to expend $$ on the intake. The stock 2.3 manifold has many compromises and just bolting on a Better Weber OEM replacement isn't the best option. Since you wish to and can legally remove the Emissions burden, the skies the limit up to the ability of a exhaust system limitation.  The options are many but it is a slippery slope for expenses.
