Title: Anybody with a Chilton manual...

What size drill bit does adjusting the neutral safety switch require?

Thanks in advance.

It's a #43 (.089) drill bit. These are the closest fraction sizes:
too small 5/64 = .0781
too large 3/32 = .0938

Insert .484 depth (I'm sure 1/2" would be close enough)

A 3D nail is .083"...numbered drill bit set is probably easier to find, either locally or online. :) lol

Yes, the #43 bit. Used on other cars too sometimes, I look for a hole that looks right to adjust and commonly the #43 fits it. Apparently they used it on more than one car.
