Holly Carb Question
« on: July 17, 2017, 10:57:30 AM »
Hi. I have a problem with my 2bbl. Holly Carb. It's on a Calif. car with auto. trans and the dumb electric choke.  I have found a replacement, but it is for a manual trans car. Can it be used with my application, or would it be better just to have mine rebuilt???  Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks very much.  John

If its a 500 Holley that's your problem. WAY TOO big on a street Pinto. If its a 350 Holley just stick a kit in it as the carb is very simple to work on. Best to get a Holley kit too. Some of the cheap ones are just that, CHEAP.
Its better to be a has-been, than a never was.
