1971 2000 no spark
« on: November 09, 2012, 12:15:17 AM »
My 1971 pinto won't start. After an exhaust repair timing adjustment and replacing points with electronic doohickey, it ran great for one outing and now nothing. It has fuel but something is messed up with the spark. Replaced the coil, plug wires, put the points back in, new cap rotor. It turns over but wont catch.

Have you replaced the condensor?  I have had one go out before on my Mustang, same thing, no spark.
