79 bumper end caps. How to remove them?
« on: March 09, 2019, 12:47:45 AM »
I'm not going to use the 79 bumpers. Someone here needs end caps.
Thanks.

What did you decide to use? I have never seen a 79 in person. Are the mounting brackets the same as 77-78?

I'm going to use my 74 front sheet metal for now and put small bumpers on it.
Long term goal is an early fiberglass front end.
Thanks,
Russ

Found the answer to the caps/extensions.
they are bolted on with 2 studs per cap.
Yay factory service manual.
took a lot of scrolling, but found it finally.
