Has anyone put a 351C in a 74 or up Pinto?
« on: December 01, 2014, 10:05:40 AM »
I've seen a couple of older ones here with them, but it seems both came with them when the posters bought them. Plus, again they are the older cars.

Having bought a car with a 351C and being reminded of how much fun those engines are I am really leaning towards putting one in my 74. Yes, not practical or easy. But the Pinto has gone from being a potential daily driver to a strictly weekend fun car and I want the 351C.

I know what is involved with putting a 302 in, but don't know what else will need to be done with the Cleveland. Trans will likely be a built up C4 so the trans tunnel shouldn't need much work.

Thanks,
Russ

More money from front to back, compared to a 302w.

Yes, but as stated above, I want the 351C.
