Post by: Darren Laih on June 13, 2016, 07:23:36 PM
Hello all I just purchased a 78 cruising wagon and I am in search of a door and the lower dash piece that the heater controls mount too . Looking forward to getting to know everyone and enjoy these under rated cool little cars

Most 1974 to 1978 wagon parts are the same...1979-1980 has a redesign in the front end and dashboard. So you should be able to find these common parts. As for the Cruising Wagon parts ( sheet metal and interior panels not so much.

EBay has a lot.. You are most likely not going find any thing in a junk yard. SoCal maybe the rust belt no!
You could also try row52.com

There is a 74 wagon in Vancouver Washington just set this month. You can give one of these guys a call and maybe work out a deal

My name is Kristian, CALL, TEXT, OR E-mail me if you need someone to pull a part for you. Now serving in Washington. (831)-498-3010

I have the accessory gauges, rear portals, and factory rear window louvers from a  Cruising Wagon but I did not pull the lower console that houses the heater controls. I believe the AC equipped cars ran the same lower console

I have a red console.  Someone drilled 2 holes in the driver's side for some reason.
