NO! Pintos only use two. No hole for a third.
Its better to be a has-been, than a never was.

The only pintos that use the third bolt were the 74 and early 75 pintos ,  late 75 and later they did not , pure overkill ,

This past weekend I took a standard rack out of a 77 and replaced the power rack
on a 76. I believe both were previously untouched to look at them. The power
rack was a two bolt and the manual was a three bolt. The provisions were there
were there on both cars to go either way. I believe three bolts is overkill, but I
used them anyway. I could take pic's if anyone wanted to see, as both motors
are out of the cars at this point.

I have a 76 wagon with the 2.8 and power steering. My rack has 3 bolts.
