77 Stock Pinto sunroof
« on: March 15, 2014, 05:45:03 PM »
I am looking to see if anyone has a 77ish sunroof car they car part with the hardware for the sunroof? Tried to put an add on wanted but I am just not smart enuff to figure that section out I guess :)

Please message me or post here if you have any info on where I can get such hardware. Thanks in advance.

Also, been way to long since I have been here and had a Pinto to work on (went to the Merkur scene) so I am excited to be back. Cant wait to start my 77 Pinto restore.

I believe that I have an aftermarket one from the 70-80's buried away.  Just like the one on my '78 CW.  If your interested, I'll check it out and let you know.

Yes please try and find it and let me know what you want for it. Mine is currently sitting in the hole with one side holding it in and I am worried it will fly out lol.

Found it!  It is an Elixir Industries Professional grade.  It is removable and the original box lists the Pinto as one the models that it fits, so it is old.  It is in perfect shape (glass, frame rubber and seal) with instructions, but you will need new caulk, sealant rope or whatever you like to call it.  Make me a reasonable offer.
