Getting ready to do a fuel injection swap on my 74 wagon. Currently has points type ignition and externally regulated alternator. I need to know how to rewire the car for an internally regulated alternator and where to connect the EFI harness to the car at.
Pin 1 (keep alive power) will go to the always hot side of the starter solenoid, but i'm not sure where to get the 12v in run and 12v in run/crank at.
Also for the alternator wiring, the regulator has 5 wires coming out of it, one to a condenser, two to the alternator and the other two I dont know where they go? One i assume is for the charging light but I dont know about the other one. Those two will need to be done away with or hooked up, but i need to know what they do and where they go to be able to do that.
Please help if you can!!
Thanks!

Go to www.rothfam.co m/svo/3g etc. . Many places have the info for the swap. I'm getting ready to do the swap myself. I'm using a 130 3g from a mid 1990's Taurus and a pulley from oldfuelinjecti on.com. I'm keeping the v belt system because two belts are better than one if it's running the alternator and water pump. One belt on the serpentine system seems to be a high chance of failure but that might be just me. Plus I do not feel like changing any thing else. The belt I need might be a little smaller but not too much.
