Title: 74 front and rear bumpers-what do I need to do to push them in?
Post by: russosborne on July 06, 2014, 10:31:53 PM
I really would like to use the smaller older bumpers, but at least for now the budget says no!no!no! :(
I have seen and heard about people pushing them in, but I don't think I have seen a how to on this. Hoping for something that doesn't require brute strength, because at this point that I don't have either. Also no cutting/welding, if that is required then I won't be able to do this either.

I am looking at things I can (hopefully)do right now for zero cost.

Thanks,
Russ

That looks really good, but to be honest he lost me on the rear bumper. I need a few more in between photos to be sure of what he was talking about with the cutting.
But I will do the front that way for sure unless someone else comes up with something better. It seems really straightforwar d to me.
Thanks!
