73 Hood
« on: June 30, 2013, 04:04:09 PM »
My 73 wagon has a pretty good dent in the front of the hood.

I can have it repaired but if I can get a good deal on a replacement hood I would do that. For example I've seen a 1980 hood advertised for $25 but don't think it's the same.

Anyone know what range of years the hoods were the same?

I know the hood latch was different on '71 to '73 Pintos but I don't know if the underside of the hood was different as well. I can tell you for sure that a '79-'80 hood will not work.

Thanks but I'm in the great NW so I'm afraid getting here would be an expensive proposition.
