Title: 73 2.0 with AC vacuum lines

My 2.0 in my 73 wagon originally had AC. I did away with the compressor but am keeping the vacuum controled climate switch.

On the end of the intake there is a three port vacuum switch. How do all of these ports connect to other devices? Does anyone have a vacuum diagram for a 73 with AC?

Dave,
 My Clymer manual says that the A/C equipped cars used a 3 port vacuum valve. Under normal conditions, it routes the Carburetor vaccum to the distributor advance diaphragm. If the engine overheats while idling (because of the A/C load) , the valve routes Intake manifold vaccum to the Distributor ( using a higher vaccum to advance the timing) and increase idle speed , thereby cooling down the engine. I don't have a diagram to distinguish a 73 from a 72 , but let me know I'll be  trying to scan the 72 diagram.

That would be the valve I am wondering about. Right now I have the port at the outside end running directly to the manifold vacuum on the #1 runner, and the port inside closest to the carburetor connected to a "T", going to the distributor vacuum advance and to the carburetor "spark port" (distributor port).

I have no idea what the center port is, or if I have the existing two connected properly at all.
