Title: 72 pinto coil springs

Does anyone know if later model coil springs fit the 71-73 models. Coil spring don't seem to be available.  Thanks, Don

Yes they will, but you'll have to shorten them and a little shortening goes a long way.

Also, there might have been 2.3 and V-6, 2.8 springs. I'm not sure on that but it should be given consideration to check. Yes, as noted cutting the springs will be necessary. It is sort of a double effect. The later springs are designed for heavier weight and thus stiffer. And cutting the spring will make it even stiffer still. So, know that going in so it will not be a surprise to you.
