Just purchased a 71 pinto missing heater defroster unit will a 77 unit work thanks.

Yes, a 77 defrost duct will work but can't use A/C one
It has to be heater only.....

besides the ducted will the heater core and the fan motor and the complete unit be a direct swap thanks.
