5 lug on a 71 - 73
« on: March 15, 2015, 06:08:08 PM »
Is there any way to put 5 lug disc on a 71 - 73 pinto ? all the kits I've seen are for 74 and up...

Tony (351C into a 71) found a kit from Strange. He has drum brakes & the kit is for disk up-grade. Don't know the numbers.

The Wilwood kit has brake lines you can (should) order as well: http://www.wilwood.com/LineKits/LineKitsProd.aspx?itemno=220-8307

I do not know if it is a typo, but the Strange 71-72 kits list a GM bolt circle of 4-3/4".

Another option with some fabrication is described in this thread.

Look at the FAQ section.  I believe turbopinto72 did a write up on 11" 5-lug front brakes for his 73 Pangra.
