4 to 5 lug spacer/adapters?
« on: December 31, 2015, 01:55:23 AM »
Hi all:

I'm seeing these CNC'd four to five lug spacer/adapters on EBAY and I'm wondering if anyone has used these. I REALLY would like to go to a five lug setup WITHOUT having to drill or substitute axles (in the rear). I KNOW there's a conversion kit available for the front, but even still, spacers would be the cheapest/non-permanent option and would help me choose more wheels and tires since the 13" variety is now "hen's teeth".

Here's a link for one of them:
zy&vxp=mtr" class="bbc_link" target="_blank">http://www.ebay.com/itm/CNC-4X114-3-TO-5X114-3-5-LUG-CONVERSION-25MM-1-INCH-WHEEL-SPACERS-ADAPTERS-/191053737142?hash=item2c7bb0acb6:g:neYAAOSwnDZUK4 zy&vxp=mtr

BY THE WAY, WHAT IS THE SPACING on the standard Pinto wheel, between the lugs? Is it 4 x 4.25 or 4 by 4.5? I can measure it but I thought I'd ask.

THANKS!

Chris

The Pinto lug spacing is 4.25".  If your just looking for a larger diameter wheel, the Fox Mustang wheels are available in 14", 15", and 16" OEM and more choices are available from the after market.  Be sure to also check the hub whole diameter for clearance before buying wheels.  The link below is to a thread with links to nice charts if junk yard searching.

hi I have a set of  inch and 1 half spacers on the rear of my wagon.igot 4 on 4 spacer to wider the stance  of 235-60-14 on 8 inch wheels no problems with using them .I have had them on for 5 years.
77 wagon auto 2.3  wagons are the best and who knew I like flames on a pinto!!!!
