i have a 351 bellhousing to a 4spd toploader for sale, there is lots of good motor mounting information around, just look for v8 swap postings

Mike,

The 351W is one of the best engines ford ever built (IMHO). It was overshadowed by the 351C which stopped production around 1974. The "W" was last put in a 1999/2000 Saleen Mustang, was supercharged, and put out 507HP at the rear wheels (I saw the dyno sheet and drove the monster). The "W" takes the same motor mounts as the 289/302. It is however, taller and wider at the top than the 289/302 so hood clearance is an issue. But the biggest problem is going to be headers with the tight fit in the engine bay. You need to upgrade to an 8 inch rear if mild and 9 inch if its wild. The other problem is keeping the thing straight when you punch it ;)

Mike,

There is tons of info on V8 swaps on this site. Just do a search for V8 swap, 302, 351, etc. and you should come up with most of the how tos. Here is a start in parts...
