I can't imaging 10" wheels fitting over the brake drums/rotors. Much less the bottom of the Pinto hitting the ground before the tires touching.  The only car I ever recall having 10" wheels was the original Mini Coopers.

I'm assuming 10" width. I think 8 1/2" is the limit without wheelwell mods.

The racer that I bought my 8" trac lok diff from offered to sell me the ( 2) 13" X 10" Comptomotive that he used to run on his Auto Cross Pinto. With 50 series tires and a slight roll of the flare lip they would fit. He wasn't making enough HP with a Stock internal 2.0 to spin them when he needed to. I was unfortunately, unable to use them as My class limited wheel width to 7". Now the Rules are more lenient, I wished I would have bought them then.

Sigh,  hindsight Bytes the Butt :-[ Again!

I guess I should have been a little more clear...  15 X 10's ... 15 inch wheels, 10 inches wide.

After the body work is done, mine will be 14"-15" wide, for the 29x18.50x15.   ;D

Reeves1 what rear do you have, mine is a narrowed Explorer rear. it is about 3/4 of an inch shorter than a stock rear.

Was trying to be funny....

Mine is a narrowed 9" with Mark Williams High Torque axles.
Spring center pin to pin is about 26 3/4"
Big tubs.
All of the 18.50 tire will fit under the fender.....but the front & back of the wheel well needs to be cut out for the 29" tall tire.
I have 26" tall right now & it's a tight fit.
I'd stay with 26s - but cannot find any that are 18.50 wide.

Funny....was at the speed shop in the city & the wife was looking around while I was buying a truck load of parts.
Showed her a set of 29x18.50x15 MT tires. She thinks me a little bit crazy  ;D
