2.3 turbo in a 1961 Falcon
« on: August 28, 2007, 12:41:58 AM »
I am going to be putting a 2.3 turbo into a 1961 Falcon and want to know if there has been anyone yet to do the swap. I am not alone in this venture but neither of us has done the swap and want to know if there is any info about this? Either way by the end of this year there will be a turbo Falcon rollin around Idaho! Maybe two. It will start this week and I will be taking many many pics and hope to post a bad butt Falcon here sometime soon.

It might be an improvement to add the Mustang II front suspension at the same time of the engine swap.  You could also do some serious lowering without messing with suspension geometry.

Adding a mustamgII is a lot of work. All you have to do if you want to lower is use the 65 Shelby front suspension mod it lowers the front over 1" and improves the handling...
It's simple you just drill 4 new holes for the upper control arms it's done.
