2.3 Pilot hole ID in crankshaft for a torque converter
« on: January 30, 2013, 09:19:22 PM »
Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know the diameter of the crankshaft torque converter pilot hole is on a 2.3 liter?  I am putting together the parts to change my C-3 trans for a C-4.  Thanks in advance for the help.

Best regards,

Dennis

As far as I know as long as there is no pilot bearing installed in the crankshaft either torque converter should fit.

Thanks Tigger,

I called Esslinger and they said they bore a 0.75" hole for the pilot shaft on the 2.3 liter crankshaft.

Best regards,
