I know this topic has been discussed before and I have read some of the past posts. As you know, I am building a trike out of the rear half of a 67 Mustang and using the Pinto as a doner for the power plant, and other mechanicals. Performance is NOT my goal. Dependability and drivability (putting around) are my goals. I think a header would look cool as the engine will be exposed. I am looking at the two in the attached pics. The cheap one has a 3" collector which will probably be too big for an unmodified street engine. The Pacesetter is more $$$ but has a 2.5" collector that is likely a better choice for drivability. The pic is of the ceramic-coated version. I can get a painted version that I would have to strip the coating and spray with an ultra-high temp coating make for exhaust manifolds and headers. Can someone give me the pros and cons of both, and any other available headers? Does anyone have any real world experience with either that you would share? I am a cheap bastard but understand that cheaping out could be a bad decision in the long run. I'm not even close to needing it yet but I like to collect parts so I have them available when I get to that point. Thank you for your input...
