Will a 2.0 intake interchange with a 2.3?
-
If it's the 71 to 74 year 2.0 it would be a no ,
-
Ok my next question is how can you tell and older 2.0 from a 2.3? Aftermarket that is.
-
For the early 2.3 it's easy , the 2.0 intake ports are round on all ports , the 2.3 the two outer ports are oblong, if you can find some photos of the intake gaskets you will see it very easily,
-
Damn well l I ended up picking up a CANNON ALUMINUM intake that the guy said wouldn't work on on his 2.0 so he must of had a 2.3 because this intake has round intake ports all across. Guess it's time to sale it😶
-
I'd love to see the intake. Might be good for my 73
-
Post some photos to make sure 👍
-
I'll have to post some pics tomorrow. It is the exact same thing as shown in these pics but mine is painted blue.
-
Well it does not fit the 2.0 pinto engine , its fits the ranger with the carb set up , 83 to 88 ,
-
So this intake will not work on my 2.3 either? Only the newer ranger 2.0/2.3?
