2.0 turbo oil return line
« on: September 14, 2004, 02:29:27 AM »
Has anyone ever used, or contemplated using, the vertical plugged hole on the left rear lower side of the block as a turbo oil return.  This hole is unthreaded and goes directly into the crankcase.  I believe its intended use was for dipstick access for a rear sump oil pan, but I am not sure.  I would be interested in any opinions or experience, pro or con, on the use of this as an oil return access for a turbo.
