2" Drop Spindles and 13x5.5" Cragars
« on: May 22, 2012, 03:46:49 PM »
Hi!

I'm in the process of rebuilding the front suspension on the wife's 79. I've ordered in a polygraphite kit from PST, and a replacement set of stock springs from the. I was wondering if I would be able to run a set of 2" drop spindles with the 13x5.5 Cragar SS's up front.

I'm also trying to track down a set of Sway bar brackets for the frame rails, Hers never came with a front sway bar.

Thanks!
Dave

If you ever have a flat, the lower ball joint will be on the ground.
Its better to be a has-been, than a never was.

That's an ugly thought.... I hope the 14 x 6 wheels I plan to run will avoid that with my drop spindles.

it just depends on your offset, to run mustang 15s i had to use 1 inch of spacer, and while your front end is apart, get arp wheel studs, if you have new ballmounts depending on brand, they might rub at full lock. if you get the heidts bottom arms you wont have this problem.
