I've done some research on my 1980 trans and it seems I need a shifter that is assembled by Ford Europe. The assembly includes everything from the "black main lever down to the fork, including the bushing and lock ring". I also need a separate "internal clip" which is "a plastic piece that goes between the shifter fork and the main rail inside the transmission".
The thread size of the connector is a German spec. type thread. The closest OD thread match is 1-5/8 or 1.625"
Does anyone know where I can get these parts?
