Hello everyone! I am glad to be a part of this group. I recently purchased a 1979 trunk car. I love the front ends on the early models. Are these front clips interchangeabl e. Thank you for all the advice and knowledge ahead of time.

Welcome Jays79, glad to have you here. Are you wanting to swap the early 71-73 (small bumper) or the later 74-78 (big bumper) front end onto your 79?

I have not tried it.  Below is a link to a bumper conversion along with a LOT of other customizations .  I seem to remember another bumper conversion with less custom work but could not locate it.  Note the early rear lower valence is notched to clear the late model longer rear leaf springs and shackles.
