1974 Ford Pinto Ranger Header Swap
« on: January 14, 2017, 07:23:58 AM »
I'm about to go to the junkyard to pull a 92-93 Ranger header. Will it be a direct bolt on for my 1974 Ford Pinto or will it take some modification?

I had to plug the small holes in the head just below the ports on my '74.  The header did not cover them completely.  I also made a cap to put on the egr port to block it off (on the ranger header).  The Pinto exhaust pipe flange "collar" even fit the ranger header.
