10 HP from air correctors ONLY
« on: November 05, 2013, 09:31:00 PM »
Anyone seen this?

'Most race engines using the stock 32-36mm  Pinto  Holley/Weber carbs will see a 8-10  hp increase on the dyno by changing the air corrector jets from the 185-190 that they come with to a set of 160 air correctors.'

Among the other jewels to be found at...........

http://www.racerwalsh.zoovy.com/category/techinicalinformation/

Look for the 'Back 2 Basics Sheet' link. The font used there kinda sucks, better to copy and turn into normal text.

My Weber came with 165/160's from Weber.

Thanks for the link. I'm still 'tuning by ear/seat of pants' so...all info is appreciated!!!
