How do I remove air ducts from dash?
« on: August 15, 2008, 08:26:01 PM »
Specifically, the plastic "ducts" at the corners of my dash (I don't know the proper term, vent openings, or whatever)? These of course are the black housings (square) outlined in silver, with the air deflectors in them. How do these come out? I need these out to repaint the dash.

Fiddled with the driver's side unit tonight, pulled the round ductwork from behind it and managed to tear the actual duct about 6" back - grrrr... >:(

Windshield not out YET - but I plan to before paint (beisides, gotta kill the rust monster on the cowl and under the glass seal). Call you tomorrow, thanks.
