"REMOVING" under dash A/C unit?
« on: August 15, 2008, 08:30:02 PM »
I have dealer installed A/C, so there's a nice big setup right under the dash, behind the glove box. Not a problem, until you consider getting at the nuts to remove the dash cap.

1) Has anyone ever REMOVED this unit?
2) Better still, are there any suggestions on how to MOVE it just enough so I can gain access to the nuts? I DON'T want to tear it out, for obvious reasons - just want to get it out of the way so I can pull the dash cap.

Thanks!

Chris
