Title: '77 C/W sunroof seal?
Post by: Jauntimus Prime on March 18, 2015, 09:24:49 PM
Got a flip-up sunroof and the rubber gasket is toast. I'm pretty sure it isn't factory, but probably some dealer or pro conversion when the car was new. It seems to be just foam rubber extrusion that fits into an aluminum channel, but I can't find anything that matches up in shape anywhere. Even Steele Rubber, where everyone tells me to look, doesn't seem to have anything like it, at least not on their online catalog. An email asking about custom ordering was never returned...

Anyone ever replaced a sunroof seal like this? Any ideas? This ride doesn't look cool with black Visqueen taped over the roof hole.

Look on ebay, or call around your area for companies that do that sort of mod. Around here, I would call the Shave Shoppe. ebay would be the best bet I would think!
