ANAOTHER VIEW OF THE REAR WING PANELS
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: This is a =nother fiew of the rear wing and its side panels looking rear from the top of the body.  The two openings are for the rear window and trunk panel.  Note the flatness of the rear wing.  There is very little down force on these door cars.  They are similar to the PRO STOCK cars.  Both the PRO MOD and PRO STOCK cars are very very loose at the top end and require much more attention to the attitude of the car compared to a FUNNY car that has a great deal of down force.

is this due to the relatively lower speeds that the pro stock / pro mod cars run? i can see why the FC cars run with more down force due to the extreme speeds and the ability to generate the downforce at a very rapid rate
